NRA GLOBAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2016

O Global Summit iniciou com a apresentação da Dawn Sweeney, Presidente and CEO da NRA, e o Sr. David Matthews, Vice presidente e General Consel da NRA, que conduziu a introdução de todos os países e grupos. Estavam presentes representantes da Austrália, Azerbaijão, Brasil, China, Irlanda, México, Rússia, Ucrânia, entre outros.

Os principais temas do evento foram: Globalização, Educação e Capacitação, Supply Chain, Franchising, Desenvolvimento das pessoas que trabalham no setor e uso das Associações para o desenvolvimento do segmento de foodservice.

As tendências relevantes citadas foram: (1) Crescimento do segmento de Fast Casual (2) Crescimento do Foodservice no Varejo – presença em lojas de conveniência, empórios, farmácias e supermercados cada vez mais relevante; (3) Delivery – nova geração, com a presença do Uberats, Amazon Fresh e Gruhub; (4) A preocupação cada vez maior com os ingredientes – Global “free from” Market : Naturais, Orgânicos, Non-GMO (geneticamente modificados), Sem aditivos, Não artificial e “Clean&Simple” (5) diferentes gerações e a influência da tecnologia – mobile payment, entre outros.
